Why DPhiant Created Clear Shot

Clear Shot was inspired by a viral trend using liquid collagen masks to cover blemishes under makeup. But when I tried it, it felt tight, uncomfortable, and impractical for all-day wear. It wasn’t a real solution.

Traditional options had their limits. Blemish creams and gels rub off easily, leaving you unsure if they’re still working. Hydrocolloid patches remain visible, don’t always stay in place, and often lack blemish care ingredients. For deeper skin tones, finding a seamless match is difficult. And if a blemish doesn’t fit the patch, it simply doesn’t work. Even decorative patches draw attention when you’d rather they didn’t.

I wanted to create something different something you could wear confidently during the moments that matter: a presentation, prom, a job interview, a wedding day.
